Some thought it would never happen, but after solo successes and a three-year hiatus the ladies of Destiny's Child have reunited for the eagerly-anticipated Destiny Fulfilled. The Houston-based trio of Kelly, Michelle and some girl named Beyonce follow up their mega successful Survivor with another album full of infectious dance grooves and melancholy tales of women done wrong. Lead single "Lose My Breath" is their first offering of the former. Backed by a kinetic marching band sample, they sing with an urgency that bolsters the Rodney Jerkins-produced track. Current single "Soldier" is more of the same. Featuring T.I. and Lil' Wayne, the song allows the trio to sing the praises of the kind of men they like.

Despite this one-two uptempo punch, DC does do ballads. They go old-school on the moving "If." Michelle, who has several impressive solos throughout, and Beyonce trade lines about finding and holding on to love. However, on "Bad Habit" the trio goes for the paint-by-numbers woman finding her inner-strength theme. Other highlights include the 9th Wonder and Beyonce-produced "Girl" and the midtempo gem "Free." --Rashaun Hall

5 DC does it again...
Although when I first saw there were only 11 tracks on the album, I was a bit diappointed, but they redeemed themselves. I don't like "T-shirt" and I don't like "Girl" all that much. But everything else is a groove... Although I waited for the Thansgiving Day sale so I could get it for $6.99, I know now I would've paid full price. Not just because it's Destiny's Child and there is no album of their's that I don't have, but because it was very good!! On "If", I cracked up when Beyonce said "Playing around w/them raggedy heffas", and all my fellow DC fans know that only Beyonce can get away w/that! And "Bad Habit" is truly relateable to all of those who have had a man they know they need to leave alone but just can't. And I know I don't even need to mention the songs that have been released... If you don't have this album, please get it, and complete your DC collection. This album was a perfect note to end on. Congratulations on a most successful and fulfilling career. I am looking forward to a reunion Album... and don't we all know there will be a greatest hits album coming out next year (which I will be buying as well...)

5 I wish they would make one more to close it!
Destiny Child was never corney. Even if it were their solo cds or as a group I wind up liking just about all of the albums. The only one that I didn't hear was the first one, which I know wasn't that bad or their best. Them as the four girl group upon a time was good, but I always felt that it was overcrowded. Their new cd is by far the best because I like every song. It took me sometime with girl,if,love, and free, but when I got use to them I was like this cd is hot. My first cd to like every song. And if you listen closely the songs combine, one after another. Beyonce even said that they tell a story. This cd she doesn't hog it up. I don't think she did with survivor, that's when I really got to hear the girls sing. They each got their own unique voice. I never knew that Kelly could sing. I thought her voice was a downfall of Beyonce's voice. They made 2 cds with the old group and 2 cds with the new one. I just wish they would make another one to outbeat the old group, so then it could be 2 to 3. I think they may surprise us. If they say it is fulfilled then in a way it is because I like every song. Thank ya'll for this album. There will never be another girl group like ya'll.

5 Their Desitiny Is Fulfilled!
Ok, this album shocked me with the single "Lose your Breath" made me want to go out and buy this album which the song "Lose your Breath" peaked at #3 on the billboard charts. The next single "Soldier" which is a very easy song to get stuck in ur head ! "Soldier" went on to peak at #4 on the billboard charts. Well their other songs talk about them and how they fullfilled their destiny. "Girl" their next single was an anthem to tell each other that Destiny's Child stick up for each other! "Girl" went on the peak at #12 on the billboard charts. Their next single out now which is "Cater 2 U" this personally I love this song it peaked at #7 on billboard charts and tells the world the want to be true to their man! Other songs on the album that stick out are "If" , "Free" and "T-Shirt" which are all good slow jams. This album is money well spent on their last effort together!
