3 A bright new release into the music world
I can say this album is not what I thought it would be, but there were some amazing songs on it nonetheless. What I always liked about Lifehouse is, they didn't seem like all those other cheesy, whiney, mainstream music pop/rock bands. Lifehouse seems to be one of the more talented rock bands out there, where you can tell they really have a passion for their music and what they do. These are what I found to be the most memorable tracks:2. You and Me -This one didn't grow on me the first listen, but I'm telling you, slow dance to this song. Definetly has the content, sway to the music vibe to it. I also love the message behind it: Being in a relationship, where it only seems to fade to the both of you, not caring what other people think of it.3. Blind -Now here is the Lifehouse I know and love. A track I can definetly keep on repeat. The first time I heard it, I cried my eyes out, just because the emotion of Jason's voice is incredible, and the instruments fits just perfectly with the words. You can really feel the sadness of this one going right through you. *HIGHLY reccommended!* 10. Walking Away -One of the more mellow tracks. Has a rainy day, gloomy kind of vibe to it. Close your eyes and really pay attention to his voice. I was amazed with the intensity of it. The lyrics are also really great, painting a picture in your mind of what he's singing about.11. Chapter One -Not what I expected to hear from Lifehouse at all! This song is a lot different from all the others. Sort of has a jazzy almost lounge type feel to it. Very mellow, with a very interesting beat to it. I definetly reccommend they experminet with this more. Then there are tracks such as "Days Go By" (a peppy upbeat track I really liked!) and "We'll never Know," which I can give credit for. They are both upbeat songs with positive messages about living your life to the fullest, and taking chances. "All and All" also holds that same vibe. The violins are really awesome in there as well. "Come Back Down," and "Better Luck Next Time" aren't bad songs eitheir. Both have catchy choruses. "Undone," and "Into The Sun," not all that bad, but not the best. "The End Has Begun," isn't that memorable, but not entirely a bad song.My critique: although many of the songs are good, and listenable, a lot of them aren't all that memorable. I do find Jason Wade to be an talented songwriter, but not the greatest lyrics I've heard on others. (although Walking Away, the songwriting shines big time) Not a whole lot of the songs sent that shiver "omg this is so amazing" tingle down my back good, but you can tell this band is just more than average. However, if your looking for some postivie meaningful music to add to your cd collection, a great cd to listen to in the car, when your mellow, a summer vibe, and a relax at night time vibe to it, you might want to pick this up.My overall rating:3 & a half stars: Average songs, but a plus for there are some chilling, intense tracks on here as well.

5 Let's pretend their 2nd cd never existed.
The lifehouse we all know and love is back with a great follow up. No Name Face was golden. Stanley Climbfall wielded a couple of ok songs like Spin, Take Me Away, and The Beginning, but overall it was a tragic attempt at a sophomore outing. With their self-titled 3rd release, Lifehouse proves they can rise above. The first five songs are INCREDIBLE and maybe even better than those on No Name Face. I just hope people will realize they're good again, cause they lost alot of fans with Stanley Climbfall.

5 Simply Amazing
Hands down, this is in my top 10 albums of all time. Lifehouse does not disappoint with this cd. Although much mellower than No Name Face, it does not sink in quality. The single You & Me along with Blind are my favorites and it really showcases just how well Jason Wade's writing is. Even if you're not a Lifehouse fan, I would suggest buying this because it really is...THAT amazing.
