1 review based on sound quality only...hi-res is dead!!
may hi-resolution audio rest in peace, i am sorry to see her go, with SONY closing down the sacd plant, and NOW THIS!!!, UNIVERSAL RECORDS, WHO WERE, UP UNTIL THIS RELEASE PUTTING DVD AUDIO ON THEIR DUAL DISC DVD SIDES.and now it appears as though sony has finally killed dualdisc, with all their releases being cd stereo on both sides of the disc(pcm to the late person) it looks like universal will follow the same path, i know i sound like a whiner, but hi-res is great...period!, and who do we have to thank?.....SONY!!, they refuse to go along with anybody, and they just have to screw up a good thing, their baby (sacd)never matured, so they decide to take a leap backwards. this does not bode well for the coming format war, that being blu ray disc versus hd dvd, and the only losers are the consumers, but what do they care? everyone with the exception of audiophiles (people who appreciate sound quality, as opposed to QUANTITY) will be completly content to burn music from other sources and listen it to it in piss poor sound quality as long as they get to have it THEIR way.PLEASE EVERYONE.....BOYCOTT DUALDISC, A COUPLE OF VIDEO CLIPS AND DOLBY 5.1 JUST ARENT WORTH THE EXTRA COUPLE OF BUCKS.

4 Pleasant surprise
I never heard of Bond until my parents bought their "Live at Royal Albert Hall" DVD at a promotions sale 2 weeks ago. Although some of the compositions in that DVD were over-orchestrated, I found "Victory," "Dalls," and "Alexander the Great" to be unique enough to get me interested. Therefore, the timing of this "Best Of" CD/DVD couldn't be better, in that I get to sample their best works and save myself the money for 3-4 CDs at the same time. So, I rushed to Borders the day of the release. Then, after listening to the CD a few times, I found most of the songs to be quite excellent, with the three DVD tracks being the best (with that, why are "Dreamstar" and "Dallas" missing?). They are all very upbeat, technically impressive, and (mostly) expertly orchestrated. The "Bonus" DVD MTVs are also very well done, with none of the classical rigidity that usually bores me to sleep. If you like a more rhythmic/powerful version of music like Yanni, Taliensin Orchestra, and Enya, this is for you. I just wish I had known this group earlier.

5 Bond Truly At Their Best
Bond is fantastic, and this cd puts some of their greatest hits on one cd. Whoever wrote the review above this one is very wrong, the DualDisc is great, this cd didn't cost any more than any other cd would, but you get awesome music videos and pictures. It is an awesome disc that everyone should try. Yay Bond.
